South West Trials - Centre of Excellence 2026/27

Our Centre of Excellence Trials are designed to identify the next generation of talent, welcoming athletes from all sporting backgrounds – whether you’re experienced in Touch Rugby, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Sevens, or simply looking to test your skills in a new environment. Using Touch Rugby as our vehicle, this high-energy session includes skill-based stations, game-based scenarios, and competitive matches – giving every player the chance to be seen, challenged and developed.

We’re looking for athletes who demonstrate skill, speed, game sense, teamwork and a great attitude – not just technical ability. The session also gives players a taste of what it’s like to be part of our Centre of Excellence: an annual high-performance programme built to support young athletes on and off the pitch.

Open to boys and girls in school years 6–13. All sessions are led by experienced coaches and current international touch rugby players. Why Come and Trial?
